| The Falcons showed great heart and ended the season
on a good note, beating Curtis 22-20. After trailing 22-8 going
into the fourth quarter, Matt Izzo scored on a 45 yd TD pass
and then with 1:50 remaining, the Falcons set up a screen pass
to Andre Cirino that went 44 yds for the winning TD. Cirino
also finished the day with 139 yd rushing, 53 of which came
on a TD run earlier in the game. The win leaves the Seniors
with pride as being part of a team that never quit and leaves
the Juniors and Sophmores with something to build on. |
