L 22-44 |
| The Falcons ended a very proud season after a few big
plays caught up to them. Trevor Ellam ran for 107 yds and rushed for
2 TDs. Jason Saul hit Willie Echevarria on a 20 yd TD pass for the other
score. The loss ends the playoff run for a team with just 23 very tough
kids who refused to give in to unfavorable circumstances and low roster
numbers. With 10 players usually going both ways, it was a season to
be proud of. Led by Captains Trevor Ellam, Rob Asomaning and Willie
Echevarria, the team never gave up thanks also to a great group of Seniors:
Joel Suarez, Besart Jagaga, Kareem Reed, Mike Remauro and Nick Toner. |

W 34-18 |
| Trevor Ellam's 279 yds rushing (the 5th most yds all time
at Wagner) and 4 TDs sent a great group of seniors out on a positive
note. Ellam also recovered an onside kick. Willie Echevarria ran for
a 25 yd TD to finish out his career while Rob Asomaning added a nice
catch and move for a 30 yd reception. Besart Jagaga had a great game
on both sides of the ball. Ellam's big game gave him 1,044 rushing yds
for the season. Ellam's 4 scores just gave him more breathing room at
4th place all time for TD's in a Career and Total Points in a Career.
This game was a fund raiser to help build a house for Brendan Marrocco,
the 24-year-old Huguenot soldier who lost his four limbs to a roadside
bomb in Iraq last year. |
