Falcons went up to Brockton, Mass. and whipped the #3 team in
the country. Tom Reali threw for 202 yds and 3TDs- a 50 yd toss
to Aaron Sullivan, a 47 yd strike to Jason Cintron and a 69
yd screen pass to Javonne Darling. Darling also finished the
day with 17 carries for 89 yds. James Pedro added an 8 yd TD
run. Jeff Danish, Ron Spann (1 INT) and Art Mondella all had
fumble recoveries. |

Darling rushed 18 times for 108 yds and 2 TD while James Pedro
ran for 50 yds and 2 TDs on just 5 carries, as the Falcons jumped
ahead in the first half and never looked back. Aaron Sullivan
filled in for Tom Reali at QB and completed 2 TD passes to Omar
Darling, who also added an interception. Javonne Darling was
named Daily News Player of the Week. |

Reali bounced back from a shoulder injury, rushing 12 times
for 86 yds and 3TDs, while completing 7 of 12 passes for for
107 yds. The Falcon Defense led by Ed Bowen, Randy Marcano and
Mike Lerman held August Martin to 32 yds rushing. Ron Spann
returned an interception 42 yds for a TD. |

their first shutout while limited Jackson to 88 total yds. Javonne
Darling rushed for 138 yds on only 12 carries while scoring
2 TDs. Aaron Sullivan started at QB and completed 8 passes for
115 yds and 2 TDs- a 9 yd pass to James Pedro and a 16 yard
pass to Omar Darling. Sean Lee recorded his first INT of the
season and Mike Lerman added 2 sacks. |

and the Falcons never looked back as they trampeled the Pirates.
Javonne Darling rushed 14 times for 144 yds, 1TD and Tom Reali
carried just 4 times for 64 yds, 1 TD. Reali connected with
Andrew LaFata, Aaron Sullivan and Jason Cintron on TD strikes.
Sean Lee and Sullivan also added INTs. |

front four of Mike Lerman, Jeff Danish, Randy Marcano and Phil
DeFonte held the Warriors to just 39 yds rushing. Ron Spann
recorded an INT. |

Falcons blew out the Red Raiders, earning a 7th straight Island
Championship and the #1 ranking in New York State. Javonne Darling
ran for 191 yds and 2TD scores of 30 and 42 yards. Tom Reali
connected with Aaron Sullivan on a 15 yd TD pass. James Pedro
added another score on a 6 yard scamper. |

Darling took over in the 2nd half and finished with 151 yds
rushing, 2TDs and a kickoff return for a 78 yd TD. Tom Reali
added 73 yards on the ground with one TD. The offensive line
had a great game led by Charles DeMesa and Randy Marcano. Ed
Bowen, Ron Spann, Eric Woodson and Mike Flamenbaum all had interceptions.
Javonne Darling again earned Daily News Player of the Week Honors. |

2TDs, one on a 64 yd run to open up the scoring. Reali connected
with Aaron Sullivan for a 60 yd TD pass. Sullivan finished with
7 catches for 157 yds. Javonne Darling finished with 104 yds
rushing and 2 TDs, one of which was a 33 yd run. James Pedro
had just one carry that resulted in a 36 yd TD run. |

Falcons scored the most points ever in the PSAL title game after
jumping out to a 32-6 lead in the first quarter and captured
their 4th city championship in 5 years. QB Tom Reali ran for
161 yds, including a 76 yd TD run. Javonne Darling finished
with 95 yds rushing, 3 TDs and a 7 yd TD reception. James Pedro
finished up with a great day, catching a TD pass for 56 yds
and running back a kickoff for a 75 yd score. Omar Darling finished
off the scoring with a 37 yd TD run. Jeff Danish and Ed Bowen
led the Defense in limited the Lincoln offense to just 58 yds
rushing. Phil DeFonte and Mike Lerman each recorded sacks, while
Glen Benson recovered a fumble. The Falcons finish the season
#18 in the country- ranked by USA Today, #1 in New York State,
#1 in New York City, #1 in the Daily News Golden 20 Tri-State
