losing Captain Jermaine Gilliam early in the game, the Falcons
earned their first victory of the season. QB Rob Hoke rushed
15 times for 116 yds, 1 TD. Malik Aluqdah added another 71 yds
and 1 TD on the ground. Hoke hooked up with Joe Charlemagne
on a 12 yd TD pass and Ferris Reed on a 55 yd TD toss. Reed
finished with 5 catches for 105 yds. Reed, Charlemagne and Jared

Mike Madigan, Jose Hernandez and Armhal Laboard led the Defense

yds). Malik Aluqdah rushed for 153 yds. Troy Coaxum recorded

reception, which was set up by his 46 yd interception, to give
the Falcons their 9th Island Championship in the last 10 years.

yd TD run. Mike Madigan also recorded an interception. Today's
game put Aluqdah over the 1,000 yard mark. The win also give
the Falcons the number 1 seed in the playoffs. |

in the last 10 years. Joe Charlemagne opened up the scoring

back. The Defense was led by a solid rotating line play from
Armhal Laboard, Mitra Ramson, Jose Hernandez, John Narvaez,
Louis Riaolo and Pasquale Fusco. |

| In
what many called the greatest high school football game they
have ever seen, Joe Charlemagne dove in the end zone for the
2 point conversion to give the Falcons a one point lead. "The
Drive" went 65 yards and had the Falcons looking at two
4th down situations. It started with 5:01 remaining and ended
with 1:07 left (See below for a full recap). Rob Hoke threw
for 263 yds and 4 TDs, while also rushing for 65 yds. Ferris
Reed caught 5 passes for 123 yds, 3 TDs and Steve Coppola
had 4 catches for 61 yds, and the final TD. Beside Charlemagne's
amazing conversion dive, he finished with 3catches for 56
yds. The win gives the Falcons their 6th City Championship
in the last 10 years. The Undefeated Falcons finished #3 in
the New York State Poll.
